This is one of our earliest projects. As a freshly licensed architect, Zac was eager to work closely with the homeowners to develop their dream shingle style home. Early on, the family told Zac they wanted a roof deck but wanted to be certain that the views would be worth it. Since they were working with an empty lot, Zac took the initiative and climbed a tree in the approximate location of the proposed roof deck to capture photographs of the bays and harbor beyond. This was critical to the client decision on the roof deck location and orientation. Zac’s approach to making a personal investment in client needs set the precedent for our design team.
